The Entry of Christ into Alexandria (2006)

Jesus Christ, as a rabbi, is seen entering into Alexandria, Louisiana, surrounded by some of its current residents as well as a host of famous people for which I have an affinity. It is loosely based on James Ensor's famous "The Entry of Christ into Brussels." It is not meant to be offensive in any way, just a composite of important people to me.

great way to remember who you are; really great idea and for clarity. Also, a good idea for other future pics, you could actually create a series of paintings like this. Fantastic piece.

Incredible work! I'd like a guide as to who's who, you know the little outlines of the figures in place with numbers over them and a legend. This would be an amazing work for a public space, what lies in it's future and how large is it?
