I cannot claim the credit for this picture, it was taken in the 1950's and has been displayed in my Aunts house ever since. It was in 1957 that I left school at the tender age of 15 years and worked down a coal mine in England 'driving' a pony such as illustrated. hard work but such companionship with the pony... the original picture won the Kodak award of the year.. I have adjusted tone and quality of it for A.W.

This is awsome and would make a wonderful painting. Thanks for sharing. I take it you were raised in England? My great grandmothers parents came across the horn to America on a ship from London. I would love to go there one day and maybe even find some family. I am anxious to look at your landscapes from there. On my way to look....keep up the good work!
