You may recall, my son wrote a book about Stanley Ketchel. For nearly a year, a self-publisher who's name starts with "I" kept us in hopes that it would publish the book. We paid for it. Well right before Christmas, they said they would not publish it due to plagiarism, or something similar to it, then took half our money, knowing they would not be publishing it, eventhough we got permissions from various copyright owners, and Grand Rapids, MI Library, in order to use their articles. They would not say where they go their information, because we emphatically denied it, and asked for proof, as we had put the manuscript through a program which brought up no such results of plagiarism. So, we are off again to find a publisher. Here is a drawing I have done of a boxer I was trying to draw from a picture of Stanley Ketchel, but my son says it is not quite Stanley in the face. Well, I've got another in the works, but hated to waste this one.

What a GREAT Drawing Carliss, I love the use of colors and the details. I am sorry about the trouble you had to go through. Sometimes the world is very cruel and ignorant, to say the least. How are the developments coming along so far? any news? I pray that all goes as you hope and may the Lord Jesus Christ and His Holy Angels guide your way. God blesss you in all you do. You have a wonderful talent. Sounds like your son is very gifted and dedicated too. I hold up your name in prayer right now. Gods' will be done. Amen!Anonymous Guest 20 Feb 2007
