Taken after Katrina, the fan was still attached to the ceiling, but as you can see it was useless.

Dang. It first appeared to me as though someone had pulled those fan blades down to look like that...until I noticed that this photo was taken somewhere outside. Then, I wondered why anyone would purposely do such a thing as it is now impossible to use the fan. I love the old-fashioned effect of the photo. It makes it look as if this fan has been around for at least a century! Great work!
