Returning to the local farm that I consider an outdoor museum, produced another series of shots. My husband explained that this type of tractor ran on propane, not gasoline like our modern machinery. Whatever the case, I'm just glad there are pieces of our history remaining.

Now then; this is a beauty. I think I'm right in saying these used to fall over a lot which is why the design was dropped. They used to put water in the rear tyres to help keep them upright. Well here in the UK they did with a similar design. Great image
