Peggy's Cove

Oil on canvas 16"X20".My first painting of Peggy's Cove and I chose the same scene ever other artist has painted. Quaint isn't it?

Are these picture painted of scenes where you live? I like the way the hut is on dodgy looking stilts, nice depth, colours and shadows, looks a bit barren where ever that is, like it was near some ice fields. Good piece

Artist Reply: You nailed it, Rad, this is at Peggy's Cove, NS. World famous tourist destination where the receding ice age left giant boulders in its wake.
