 Perseverance

A 9 by 12" pen & ink study of a Native American man done in a looser, scribbly style, a technique I greatly enjoy.I admired the referenced historical turn of the century photo by E.S.Curtis, feeling that this man possessed strength, dignity and a sense of perseverance and my wish was to convey this.

Great Fine Art Quality!A very Different Excecution...much of the Pointilism Approach :)

You took a photo and rendered it in small, calligraphic strokes. It enlivened it, made it yours. Very nice!

I like that loose scribbley style too and you do it so well. I'm a new boy in America but an old boy in life and when I lived in Ireland and grew up there I loved Indians, it must be the anarchic nature that I got from being Irish. My daughter has it too. I like your work.

I can't believe that pen 'scribble' style can produce something this magnificent.
