Santa Claus is coming to town.... I'm 99% sure i made his list ,hope you made his list too

I always wanted to do a classic looking St Nicholas Santa.

I have been working on this for a long time i decided to do it in color because i just love Christmas colors plus i had a real life santa as my model to work from which made it much easier with his blessing and premission of Marion (Thank you so much )

Completed on 11x8'5 vellum board worked with prisma colored pencils, i used some pastels for the background with a painting brush so i can get those little sparkles and went over them in the end with a tiny brush and white acrylic and used some for the hair strands as well

This might just be the best Santa claus i've ever seen, actually i think it is lol. This needs to be on Christmas cards at the end of the year my friend ;)

Katerina, this is a masterpiece! I love the vintage Santa's! I love his rosy cheeks and red nose and all the wondeful details. I loved how you added the sparkles!
