This is so wonderful and expressive. I love the colors and darkness. When I look at this I can only describe the feeling of unfathomably deep emotion, feeling. I love this.
This painting evokes a negative feeling....death of love, death of self and much more. Disturbing so I guess it is good but I wouldn't hang it on the wall! Very Macabre...
Artist Reply: Not exactly the feeling I was trying to invoke in fact the opposite. The rich red represents life and the condition of the now. The heart is not symmetrical symbolising that none of us is perfect but the flecks of gold representing unconditional love shine through. Never mind may be I need to brighten the whole thing up. At least my work invoked an emotion, not the one intended but an emotion never the less.
