About 15 years ago I designed pieces of furniture. Not only the decoration, but also the construction. I was the carpenter... Here I show you two examples. I've sold several chairs, benches and also coffins. For the coffins I did only the decoration. When I see these chairs back, my thoughts are going to Rietveld, but I know I gave them my own style and signature. Already in that time I had my black and red. (and not the colors of De Stijl, red, yellow and blue..)
