Zero

An almost intact infamous Japanese Zero fighter/bomber aircraft. Shot down in Rabaul Harbour in 1944. This wreck is quite deep - around 180' feet, but the image is destament to the clarity of the water as I took it using just ambient light. Note there is no growth, fish or coral as the harbour is a submerged caldera and thus has no nutrient rich current necessary to support undersea life. enjoy!
