This is my idea of glass ripples. I painted this digitally, and added texture and surface effects to complete the looks. The glass manipulations helped the work pop.
uh again WoW.....how are you coming up with these great pieces?
Artist Reply: LOL! Thanks Tazda! Lots of practice, experimenting and often muliple software programs and layers. This one took several hours to get like this. I save in stages and keep combining and adjusting until I get something I like. I've worked with the software so much, they are getting easier to work them.
Artist Reply: Thanks Patty! I plan to get some prints to frame and hang together like a cool relective color quilt panel once I get enough that I like best. I seem to like to group series of works to show a variety, and sometimes a few larger ones in the mix to highlight my favorite ones. I warned my husband I need walls when we chose/built our new home we are begining to hunt for. My current one stinks for displaying.
Artist Reply: Thank you Katerina so much! I love using at times multiple colors to enjoy like in this one, something for everyoe. A rainbow spectrum in the design.
Reminds me of one of my grandmothers candy dishes without the ball bearings of course!
Artist Reply: Hey! I know what kind you mean! LOL! Oh, my gosh! I actually love collection glass dishes, know wonder I have a thing for reflected glass. Wish I had a bowl with these colors! It'd be worth a furtune to get that reultts. I was thinking of iridisant glass when I was working on it, like old ornaments. Thank you!
