This painting is a 16 X 20 oil. It was one of the first paintings I did and I was blown away when it won the Purchasing Award in my first art show.
I apologize for the poor quality of the picture.
amazing..Ruth...just love this..i wish i could be thee now :-))
Artist Reply: Hi Nira...I'm so glad you liked this piece. I wish I had a way to get a higher resolution picture. I had a very small camera at the time and the first thing I knew, it was gone!!! Now THAT was a good thing!!! :):) Thanks for commenting!!
Oh Ruth, this is just incredible. The sun-dappled path, the beautiful flowers... never before have I wanted so much to take a stroll inside a painting. Well done!
Artist Reply: WOW!!! I really appreciate your very generous compliments, Becky!!! So glad you like my work!! :)
simply stunning, but powerfully warm and so delicate.ALL IN ONE!!!
Artist Reply: You are most kind and generous with your comments, Joanna!! It's too bad I have no way to get a better and clearer picture of this painting...:(
Have a wonderful weekend, my friend!!!
Artist Reply: Practice, practice, practice, Joseph!! :) Actually, I got pretty tired of jabbing color on those flowers at the end. I just didn't know when to quit! LOL
I would certainly love to wander down this garden path!! What a beautiful place you have created Ruth!! Excellent painting, and perfect piece of art!!! ~S
Artist Reply: You are so gracious, Susan! Thank you for the lovely comments! I wish I could get a better photo of the painting...it makes me dizzy!! LOL
Very pretty!!! Amazing atmosphere of colors you've created, Ruth!! Love the patterns on the ground :)
Artist Reply: Thank you Natalie. I wish I could get a better quality picture now that I have a better camera, but it's been long gone and I have no way to get another... :(
Artist Reply: Thank you, Dee, for your encouragement! Sorry about the poor quality of the picture. I might try to edit it a little better to make it sharper...
=GREAT PICTURE OF YOU IN YOUR PORTFOLIO, Ruth. A pitty this picture is not too sharp.... WELCOME TO ARTWANTED@! And Happy halloween tonight!=
Artist Reply: I appologize for the poor quality of this picture Olga. I only had a low pixel camera at the time with low resolution. Since my picture won the purchasing award at my first art show and has been gone, I have no way of taking a better picture. I now have a better camera!! :):) Happy Halloween and thanks for your comments!
