Duck Lake is a 37-acre lake that sits in a deep basin at West Thumb, less than 0.2 miles from Yellowstone Lake. Traces of the 1988 fires and the cycle of regrowth are evident along Duck Lake.In the background is Yellowstone Lake with scenic views of the Absaroka Range
