In late Sept. and early Oct. the mushrooms seem to be everywhere, especially at around 3500 ft. On this day, we were about 2 mi. into the trail to Owyhigh Lakes and my knee started to really bother me. So instead of pushing thru the pain, we decided to take it easy and enjoy the trail. We had noticed the mushrooms on the way up and thought we would see how many varieties we could find. I know nothing about what kind any of them are...you may be able to help with that.
