Oil on canvas, 2006. (30x24) Inspired by Thomas Cole's "The Course of Empire" series. "Wisper For Isabelle" depicts the continuation in the cycle of civilizations' transformations. First appears the nature, then men. My painting shows a bird in air, whereas Thomas Cole painting potrayed it still nesting. My painting is an allegorical commentary on Cole's "Desolation", 1836.
