Oh! Please do tell me all about the technique you used.. I LOVE the effect you achieved.. and he/she looks so content.. musta just been fed..

Artist Reply: Hi Barbara, Thanks for asking:) I used burgundy glitter paper and metallic derwent pencil crayons on this. I left the majority of the skin the colour of the paper and added the white and black markings. Thank you very much for your kind words:)

I am just learning this medium, I usually use pastels but am learning to mix the two together. This is beautiful, thank you for the inspiration.

Artist Reply: High Dawn, I have always worked in pencil until recently when I tried pastel, which I then mixed with the pencil too, they work well together! I love pencils, no mess and no cleaning up afterwards, lol! I'm really pleased I inspired you, good luck in your ventures.
