Medb was the Warrior Queen of Connacht, Jealous and violent she was the originial 'Girl power' figure in Irish myth :D wanted her to be of celtic colourings but I had to use myself as a reference, and boy, am I sick of looking at my ugly mug! She is quite a large painting and I had to scan her in 8 parts and put them together in photoshop. She is currently being exhibiter, in the 'Beautiful Objects Always' Gallery in Blackheath NSW.
