Blue Comos Death abstract

This is a 3-D abstract I created using Painter IX and Corel Paint Shop Pro X software, and using a Wacom tablet & stylus to digitally paint and manipulate the work. I added some effects and used a variety of brushes and blender tools. I find space to be a fascinating subject, one of awe and wonder. The universe is always changing, sometimes in such violent, yet beautiful ways. Super Novas and black holes are something to awe and wonder about, and such large areas of space that they effect. My abstract is not scientific, but comes from a dream I had of a universe cracking and spliting, with shooting blasts of stars, planets, and comets scattering and shattering in the wake of the death of an area. I know I will never see a real supernova, or black hole in action, but in my dreams I enjoy the beauty, even in death, the last moments, and wonder of such cosmic events.

Intense and dynamic spacescape...

Artist Reply: Thanks Sara! I love sci-fi scapes and often wonder what beautiful things we will never get to see but in our dreams and imaginations.
