This is a photo of an old fish boat that was grounded at historic Tallheo Cannery in Bella Coola. The sky and the ocean backdrop were perfect. I took the photo as reference material for painting, but it almost stands well enough on its own.

Great shot and beautiful light.This old boat reminds me of a pencil drawing I drew when I was 11 years old growing up on Vancouver Island.Did you ever paint this one Tahirih ?I think it would make a great painting.steve denluck 22 Jan 2008
