Grounded

This is a photo of an old fish boat that was grounded at historic Tallheo Cannery in Bella Coola. The sky and the ocean backdrop were perfect. I took the photo as reference material for painting, but it almost stands well enough on its own.

Great shot and beautiful light.This old boat reminds me of a pencil drawing I drew when I was 11 years old growing up on Vancouver Island.Did you ever paint this one Tahirih ?I think it would make a great painting.

awesome work .. you are equally good with a camera in your hand .. reminds me of the Norwegian front in WWII ... when the rivers would freeze in the Fjords and the boats would be stranded ... thumbs up
