Even now, more then 50 years after the second world war, there are still shells found by my husband on our property and on this image you can see miners coming to collect and destroy them. This isn't an exception....(even bombs are found by my husband..) Our flag seems to be sad at this moment...

Just ran across this Nelly. What a powerful image it is. We Americans need to stop and think how lucky we have been. What a sad time in history this was.Deborah Martin 02 Sep 2006

Such a powerful image! WOW!!!!!sharon hendrickson 31 Aug 2006
Excellent capture ! This proves that war is something that we can try to ignore, but seems to haunt us forever. The flag does look disheartened in this capture !!Rita de Falussy 31 Aug 2006
I don't think that we'll ever forget it. Unfortunately the politicians has rather short term memory...... Great photo!Anonymous Guest 30 Aug 2006

A very poignant photo Nelly, even peace is not the end to it, that we think it is. Bombs are still being found around the UK, but at least not quite so often now.Hassan Pasha 30 Aug 2006

Very emotional shot. Thanks for sharing, Nelly. Who would have dreamed that the views you've given us from your windows would contain danger zones!Cathie Brock 29 Aug 2006

Amazingly deep photo. Thanks God Argentina has only known only one and limited war, the Malvinas Islands. Peace must be kept by any means but obviouly the World and its instutions are failing heavily. Your photo is a great documenet. Besos Sergio.thea walstra 29 Aug 2006
That is scaring Nelly. It tells also how awful wars are. After so many years you still find what the solsiers and bombers left. So I wish the whole world peace and wisdom. I think it is important that you share this photograph with us.Carliss Mora 29 Aug 2006
Good Lord Nelly! From the beautiful shots of some of the areas on your grounds, you would never realize how dangerous is could be due to the absence of peace, at one time in our history. Your place is honored to have you and your family there, because you create such beauty. Excellent picture, too, by the way!Armando Salas 29 Aug 2006

NELLY I HOPE THEY LEAVE YOUR BEAUTIFUL GARDEN THE WAY IT WAS....Sandra Beraha 29 Aug 2006
