This is the strand I used to go to and where James Joyce took his walks.

lovely colors for the sky Frank,and your gulls are so well done,this has a very nice happy feeling to it.

Artist Reply: Thanks Ruth, I lived there when I was young in Dublin and the strand was just across the park from our house. Then the city reclaimed the strand by turning it into a dump. Now Houses have been built on the dump and people live there. Thanks for the kind comments.

Artist Reply: My mother used to take us there for a picnic on the strand. It was a real treat, crunchy sand-speckled egg sandwiches apples and maybe a banana. but we loved it and her. Thanks for the compliment Nelly.
