9"x9" acrylic on soft, dark pink packing material. This one's for you, Elton! You've taught me that I don't have to always be so traditional using 'accepted' art materials! I've learned from you that anything around us can become our artist palette and our surfaces can be anything that will accept our painting and drawing tools. After a day of painting 'traditionally', I saw this 9"x9" piece of square packing material and admired the dark pink color and thought what a wonderful background for a see-thru painting! As I painted it, I thought of you and your off-the-wall art!!!

I love this piece so very much, and I love the story behind it even more. It speaks of the shared ideas and inspiration we gain from one another as artists. I will take this lesson with me now, and who knows how I'll be inspired from it! Way to go Ginger, and Elton!
