This is a wonderful portrait. Could you tell me what software programs you use to achieve those tones and textures in the skin of your subjects?
Artist Reply: Pat, I use Adobe Photoshop CS with a couple plugins. The 3 main plugins are: nik Color Efex Pro 2.0, Raindeer Graphics Optipix (For the Grain), & Digital Film Tools 55mm (for the tones). All 3 plugins have a many, many, options and you need to try them all out. If I could only have one I would get Digital Film Tools 55mm. OPTIPIX would be my second and nik would be third. All are very good.
You have to apply a lot of masking when rendering images like I do.
