that's cool love the detail

Artist Reply: Yea.. he's one of my favotires. I have been trying to draw Jean Gray.. screwed up twice already so I think I'll skip here and got for a different character. Any suggestions as to what you would like to see?
Artist Reply: Thanks. This is one of my favotire al ltime drawings todate. Its small and was fast and the likeness is awsome. Now to find a way to give it to the actor and I would. LOL....

no way!! that has to be a photo! flawless work

Artist Reply: Well.. thanks! This is the best one so far. Next will be Jean Gray, as per a request from a fellow artists who said his younger brother couldnt wait to see the rest and if I was to draw Jean Gray. This is fun to do. Its perfect in between commissioned jobs.

Your work is awesome.... Love it!!!!!

Joanne Woolley 04 Aug 2006

absolutely tremendous. Unbelievable talent! How did you get the background so black in pencil without it looking patchy? Joanne Woolley:)

Artist Reply: I agree. Shading int he background can suck. I used an EBONY pencil which is the darked pencil I have yet to find locally. I just cross hatch layer at a time and as with all drawing never go too dark at first. Gradually to feel the shading consistant and not to damage the paper especiall when working in such a dark area. Again, thanks

UNBELIEVABLE!! this awesome pencil work...what size is the original? ...

Artist Reply: All the drawing for the X-Men series are 4.5"x 6.5". Perfect size since I take them to work with me and work on them on my lunch or in the evening at home as I sit and relax. Drawing beatrs wasting away watchign TV anytime! I usually dont draw this small or size but just for the fun of it and to keep in practice in between commissioned peices something like this is perfect. Again, thanks!
