great details on the landscapes.
long time ago artist didn't care or don't know much about perspective. see it this way, it's not a photo, it's art. art can be any way you want it to be.
I do like the setting for this bridge and has given me an improvised idea for a painting. There is something a bit out of syc in the perspective. It took me a time to locate it. First I squinted and the front of the bridge shfted to appear to be parallel with the bottom of the picture and facing directly to the front. Finally I realized , it is the legth of the far-side roof - is longer than the near side. This givies the illusion that the bridge is tipped slightly away from the viewer. Small oversight; easily corrected on a sketched drawing.
Thank you for all your wonderful comments on my work Debbie! Your pencil technique is wonderful, and the subjects you draw are captivating. Well done, and best of luck to you in your artistic endeavors! :)

Great drawing, Debbie. All the leaves must have taken quite a while and frame the bridge very well. Super job.Faye Facer 19 Mar 2008
