Oncoming Storm

Sray watched the clouds gather over the plains outside her home. They built themselves into a massive force as they prepared to charge the distant mountains, mere smudges on the horizon.

The weather mirrored the turmoil beginning to brew within her. Life had never been easy, but it had been consistant. Now she was on the edge, witnessing the calm before her own personal storm.

Sray is the main character/protagonist for one of the many stories I am currently working on. Although this scene isn't specifically mentioned in the story, she is often found sitting at the window, thinking and dreaming of the world outside the one she knows. She is a part-bred Clamon, her father was Clamon and her mother a human, she can take human form, but her "natural" form is the one shown here.

Several hours working off and on with pencils on Strathmore's drawing paper. I'm not sure if I'm terribly happy with the background and may go back and rework it if I manage to get some helpful hints on working with grass.

Sray Hillenbohn, the Clamon, Getier, and Lemyes are intellectual property of CERT.
