"TENDRILS " . This work began as a photo taken at Mountain Creek Lake which today is the home of one of our country's National Cemetaries to honor our war dead. The site is in Dallas, Texas... The phopo was altered slightly in color and position..it was tilted for dramatic effect. The Zoom image is the original shot.

The tendrils reach across lines of geography, social economic status, race, creed and gender. The tendrils touch the souls of the heroes and unite them to their fellow countrymen,...and they are forever a symbol of the devotion and sacrafice these soldiers made in order to protect and keep this land free. May we never forget these brave men and women...and like tendrils may their sacraficial offering touch our hearts and cause us each to say a prayer of thanks to God for their gallantry.
