Convergence

Not actually a cityscape, but a small French village called Montreuil sur Mer.... Moments after visiting this alley, Santa Claus came by, into this scene, perched on a hay wagon. Really. I loved the perspectives of the street, the time-worn brick and other textures, and the simple expressions of humanity woven into this place.

You always draw us into your paintings...anticipating what lies ahead. You inspire my feelings of both wonder and wander. Great texture, Michael.

==This view could be a street in VEERE Zeeland (the Netherlands!!)===

Artist Reply: I guess it could be. I'd like to see Veere someday. The European towns have so much more character than what we have here. Are you sure you don't want more Burger Kings and McDonalds over there--just for the convenience and aesthetics?
