Cordelia: The mermaid

Cordelia is an Irish name I believe that means Jewel of the sea, if my knowledge is correct, I did her for a contest somewhere else, I doubt she'll win, but I'm happy with her. I will be offering prints of her as soon as I am able. In this painting she has just come up onto that rock to get a better view of things, her two dolphin friends are playing and jumping in the background. She is a 9x12 Acrylic painting. I am willing to do commissioned originals of her, if someone would like that then you can go to my web site and contact me threw my commissions page about doing that.

what a great piece - I love the colour and detail of her tail. Im a fan of mermaids and this one is great.

Artist Reply: Thank you Susan, I'll be doing more mermaids when I can, I love them, I fell in love with Mermaids when I was 5 and I saw the little Mermaid by Disney.
