(30 " x 24 ") Oil, acrylic, and gold leafing. This piece embodies the beginning stages of life; all, including basic forms of primal being, begin as cells. The difference between cells of varying life forms and those of human descent include what some may call a soul. Here, the gold leafing represents the soul of an individual. Even the beginning stages of life, the soul of the cell exists, unique unto itself. This is piece is part 1 of 3 paintings total.
