I love everything about this painting. The fight we have everyday with ourselves. The good the bad, but knowing at the end of the day that our lord if you listen good enough will let you know where you need to be. I just absolutely love it. I hope i can own it sometime soon!

At first glance, your mind's eye is cleverly deceived. This painting also has a very dramatic effect in person. Again, subject matter is portrayed excellently. Well done once more.

Most definitely my favorite, as well. Would love to see more like this with the subject letting go of what's behind him. Looks like we have another "painter of light" in our midst. Look out Thomas Kincaid. :) God bless you, Joe!

Well, guess we are not the only ones to appreciate talent! This one is our favorite. It speaks, loudly! Tone, texture, not enough words to describe... Absolutely breath taking.

Were you thinking of me when you painted this? From personal experience, I can definitely relate to the stubborness of wanting freedom but clinging to captivity. Foolishness...Most people would like to be delivered from temptation but would like it to keep in touch. --Robert Orben (A quote I found online) Rodney
