I was her teacher. And I was one of the first people to have been notified of her passing. The feelings that ran through me when I was first told, still linger on. I always felt I had a special connection with Courtney, because her family is from the same area as mine. 2 years have gone by. So fast. I hate this time of year, because I re-live those memories and feelings all over again. Courtney is truly a special person, to have friends like all of you do something like this for her. Mahalo a nui e Courtney.
