summer exhibition 2006

Anselm Kiefer and Chantal Joffe in the Royal Academy of Arts in London. Blond girl in black dress looking at man wearing pink trousers.. (my son) The painting of Anselm Kiefer is named DIE NORNEN. It looks for me as a landscape. It is painted in oil, emulsion, charcoal, plaster, wooden chairs, metal and branches on canvas.

This one caught my attention... and off course - the posture of your son in RED pants :) - love your description, Nelly.

Great capture of the Blond Girl checking out your son in his pink pants as he contemplates the painting DIE NORMEN, which looks like something that must be seen in person to appreciate the the materials Kiefer used in it.

First off dear lady, thank you for your comment on my portfolio. Now, Ironically I was planning on saying something about this one after coming across it on the comments section of AW. It is funny and perfect. Having the camera with you and knowing when to take a shot is definately an under appreciated art form I think by the general public.

Excellent capture Nelly - apart from your composition the two paintings are fantastic - especially the one on e the right. My kind of painting - which a mutual friend of ours is urging me to start up again. PS. Since you won't marry me, perhaps we will have to stay soul mates LOL.
