Tritemnodon Aglis

My part of an art trade with http://annushkathesetter.deviantart.com/ A type of pre-historic cat. I actually found this one a challenge since I had a hard time trying to find reference imges lol. Based it on some blakc and white sketches that Annushka kindly emailed me. Acrylic paint and coloured pencil on textured painting board. 14 x 10

Lmao at "a type of pre-historic cat". Jeez, they' hand out brushes and canvases to anyone these days, don't they?

Interesting piece - nice detail on the eye, and the whiskers are well placed - but Tritemnodon Agilis (I'm assuming this is the specimen you drew) was not a prehistoric cat. It is defined a primitive Creodont, listed as a member of the Hyaenodontidae family.
