So Pink

A painting I created using just Painted IX.5 and my Wacom tablet & pen. I used these brushes in a mixed media as I painted: airbrush, pastels, chalks, and lighted blended in some areas. Not a manipulated photo. This one took me several days to do as Each stroke has to be done. I did crop and copy certain flowers I wanted to repeat in the design to place up in the corner of my scene as I worked on other aeas of the design, flipping the image around as you would turn a piece of paper. This way I could see the type I was trying to repeat. I know it's easier to just paste and then alter them, but, sometimes, I just want to do it like the old fashion way, one at a time, as if using traditional materails. That's how I learned to draw and paint to begin with as a child. So, My hands felt a bit better, and I did more tedious work and am please. Yes, it's created as a digital work, but I just can't hold and press a real air brush, real pastels or chalks fovery often anymore due to pain. It would take me months to do this kind of work, on real paper or canvas, to advoid painful flair ups. I miss the old ways, but make do. This is painful enough. So, tonight, just two works, posting new. Hands are good, so, naturally, my neck , back and hip have to make trouble. Besides, off to play again tomoorow with grandkids and spoil them.

Terry this is so beautiful. Hope you're feeling beter to create more fantastic art! :)

Artist Reply: Thanks Lynnda! Better today, and got some rest I needed. Grand kids out visiting, so overdoing it some. Just have to do things I can do,such as manipulated designs. Those I can do with ease, or photos, so work on those moe with flare ups. The designs are fun, and I am learing to do them in new ways, so, the pain again, has taught me new ways to create. Also to say HA! to my pain, I still created something! As long as I can do something, I will always be happy.
