Were these the chalky, softer type of pastels, because I bought the oil ones and they are hard to use? Wonderful work, great texture and movement:)

This is an excellent composition Joanne....I lost a friend of 17 yrs 2 yrs ago...this is him, a spitting image as they say. Thanks for bringing a smile and that warm feeling for having him in my life.

Love the flowing lines of the fur in this Joanne! You can feel the depth in the eye socket area nicely as well.
