Cool Blue Pastels Design

A soft mix of airbrush, pastels that I manipulaed a digital painting of mine to create a cool and soft feel design. Creates with Corel software.

Artist Reply: Thanks Timothy! I was looking at some wood bridge supports and descided to use that part of the bridge to start off the design. Just didn't want the colors, so chose ones I like. The rest of the design developed as I added new features and elements I likes as I drew.

Artist Reply: LOL! Okay, Tazda, just for you, I didn't even post last night! Truth be told, spent the day entertaining grandkids and wore mysef out. So, went to bed early for a change. Had a blast with them! I get to use my other skills and be creative to keep them busy, and happy despite the 8 years gap between them.

I lke when working with these brush tools that I almost feel the pastels rub, as if holding the real ones, but without me covering myself with it as I do with the real ones. I get lost in a work when creating and usually get more paint, chalk, etc. on me than the work. I get too focused. LOL!

Artist Reply: Thank you Nelly! I used some of my favorite colors in this one. The pastels and airbrush softness are soothing to be to work with. I've been on a hectic schedule with family from out of town visiting and spoiling grandkids. So, to calm myself down from all the excitement, I took some me time before bed and created this. So glad you liked this one!

Artist Reply: LOL! Thanks Deborah! I was thinking of smores when I was working on it and craving them. I did sneak a few marshmellows in! Didn't think anyone would notice! Guess it's the 16 years as a Girl Scout Leader in me. Thank goodness I can make them in a macrowave if I have to. Not as good, but it'll do! LOL!
