Oil painting on canvas. Dimension:18x24inches year:2006 There is a tradition in the Philippines as well as other Catholic countries that during the dawn of the Easter Sunday a celebration is held for the honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In this celebration, the image or icon of the Blessed Mother was crowned by a little girl dressed as an angel. Her veil is then removed and tied on balloons to be carried to the sky.

Jose, you have such a beautiful spirit. This is lovely. I just read your story on the General Discussion forum and it broke my heart. If we each do what we can at the moment - I think the world would be a much better place. God Bless.
