SMART!©

This is probably the smallest car in Europe.
I took this picture of the "SMART" in Florence, Italy.
Our youngest daughter FLEUR studied there during an ex-change programme.
How wonderful can life be?

Ace pic, great textures and great composition. Reminds me of when I went to Rome a couple of years ago, these diddy little cars (and ones like them) were all over the place. That and scooters. I absolutely love Italy, if it wasn't for my appauling dress sense I'd like to have been Italian.

Mike Carroll 02 Aug 2006

Kind of a surreal feel to this. Is that a broken window above the car? Seems like an odd place to see a shiny new looking auto parked. Must be something shady going on somewhere. Nice pic.

Sandy McClosky 02 Aug 2006

Love this. Creepy and uncomfortable and uncertain- what has happened (or going to happen) to the people driving this car? Nightmare...

Jim Perkins 01 Aug 2006

Like the alley way makes me want drive off in volkswagon, nice color

David Holcombe 30 Jul 2006

This car seems to be hiding in the alley, just waiting to surprise a traveller. The shadow in the alley leads into the shiny car and sunlit wall. I think we all need to be driving these little cars, or perhaps Vespas, or better yet, bicycles. Thanks for sharing.

Carl Huffman 29 Jul 2006
