Cliff edge, from an original watercolour. This was the first picture I painted after moving to Devon 15 years ago. It was wintertime and the only people on the beach were myself, my wife and 2 little old ladies huddled under the cliffs with their thermos flask, which we found highly amusing. The original was sold for £2500 soon after I finished painting it.

Really quirky pictures, we have a copy of Cliff Edge, and a larger one called Deliverance, every time I look at them I find something else, like the writing round the edge of Deliverance, and the two old ladies on Cliff Edge, I am sure I will find something else tomorrow, really fantastic pictures, who needs art college?ERIKA SONEGO 02 Mar 2007
