Eyes III - JBT -The Great Pretender

This time, I thought I'd try graphite pencil. Talk about a MESS! It has an attribute, though. It's easier to control with shading. I have got to practice more with it. Pencil is still what I like to use best. Here is a picture I've drawn with the graphite, and a photo taken by Tasapio at a JBT concert, is what I used for my "model."

I haven't tried graphite Carliss, I too have always used pencils. I think you did a great piece here, especially since it was your first in this medium! Have you tried soft pastels yet, they are a dream? Love your shading and texture to the hair, Joanne:)

Artist Reply: Joanne, thanks so much, and yes, I have used crayon type pastels, asnd pencils. I am not very well practiced in either. Let me know which kind you perfer, if you would please.
