Anne Frank at the Wall in Jerusalem

White Carrara Marble 24" x 14" x 14", 1985 This is obviously an event that never occurred. Yet, in my sculpture it is a symbolic event that does occur. My purpose was to join two of the most symbolic remnants of the Holocaust together - Anne and her undying optimism about the good of Mankind, and the symbol of the State of Israel.
