Gem design # 9

This is a design I made using multiple software programs. I took some images of mine and manipulated them, adding effects, filters, and using tools to create this. I will be posting other works with rocks, crystals, and gems.

I can see the marbles of my youth !!! Great abstract !

Terry, it is lively and beautiful and so cleverly executed. You are so talented. miguel

Artist Reply: Thank you Miguel! I like experimenting with the software. Soon I wil be working on some paintings of old barns. I love old barns, they bring back memories with my late father. He was a house painter and used to let me go withhim to get bids in at lots of farms. I would e absorbing the scenes around me as I waited. Loved the older barns the best. My husband spent the day as a Mother's Day gift for me driving around in the rain taking photos of old barns on his trip. That's better than a box of chocolates to me!

...........like a kaledioscope...wow....terry beautiful work...love it...

Artist Reply: Thanks Bianca! I have missed having kalidiscopes. My kids and grandkids swiped all of mine. I plan to start a lovely collection this Summer. They are inspiring, and relaxing. I had a really beautiful one as a child that had crystal and gem like glass. It was enchanting quiet fun.

Super beautiful!!!

Artist Reply: Thanks Anaula! These works are fun to do, nice stress releaseing activities. If I'm in a grumpy, sad, or down mood, I can start with one of these fun designs. It quickly lifts my spirits, while giving me time to work out or off the gloom.

Excellent digital Terry :)

Artist Reply: Thank you Loredana! These works are like using a recipe, I make it up as I go, until I find what I like. It's much like I cook, usually, without a recipe, as I just know what amounts or ingredients will work.

Wonderful elegant work!

Artist Reply: Thanks so much Emily! I love so of the gizmos and manipulation tools I have in my software. You still have to do the work and selecting of colors, shapes, patterns, so they aren't just a couple of clicks to get sone. I often tweak a design for hours, I like to use my photos and paintings to start the creations.
