So, would you like to know where we were yesterday?? OK, I'll tell you. This is a hike we were on 3 years ago, in the middle of summer. We should have known we were in trouble when we had to park 1/4 of a mile from the trailhead due to a foot of snow on the road. Normally we would have driven over this bridge to get to the trailhead, but since we walked in we took the time to see Denny Creek. It is more like a river during this time of year with rain and snowmelt. However, this was a beautiful sunny day (75 degrees). We REALLY appreciate the sunshine here in the Pacific Northwest. I will share more of the hike with you tomorrow....
