My friend Aaryn and I were on a photography field trip. The Farmer's Market was on that day so I bought a gourd and she drew a face on it. The gourd (lovingly named Vladimir) was the main subject of most of our photographs. We saw this adorable kid playing with his grandparents and we just had to take his picture holding Vlad. His name is Noah. I love the way he looks so puzzled. "Why are these crazy ladies making me hold a gourd?" 35mm.
