Night Wind 85

This was a kinda surrealistic sense of the inside of my apartment in Japan, back in 1985. The wind would blow thru the windows at night, bringing the curtains to life, it was hypnotic to watch... As with my other drawings this was done with black ink on white paper... It took about 3 weeks to complete, i think....

Whoa! You are seriously talented Chris! It would be hard for me to choose a favourite from your colection in this portfolio, but this might be it. I could look at this for a long time, and still see something new. The detail is impressive and the picture "breathes!" You have captured light, depth, and movement exquisitely. It is at once thoughtful and intense...but also playful! I am intrigued by what might be behind the cutain. Love it!

this is beautiful! Wonderful lines and depth. I like the altered perspective of the wall to the right and the ripples in the floor. Ink is such a dramatic and precise media. I hope you enjoyed working on it. However, I want to know what seems to be peaking out from under the curtain? The curtain that you did give a wonderful movement to.

Silent serenades whirl in your wind and settle in your hand to come out in notes of pleasure upon this page and tiptoe in our ears, thus sing a song of peace and love from far away...this is Excellently done and amazingly fine...the accurate placement of details and intellligent use of line shows how much you undersand and feel the beauty of life...Very impressive. You accomplished your goal...I hear the Wind like a wave of wonder pass through your mind to the world. Have a Blessed day , Christopher...You are such a true and sensitive artist...Sincerely CB
