I have not been a photographer of weather related subjects.. although I do enjoy clouds, but I think of them for their form, shape and color. But photographing lightening is extremely difficult and I have had little success over the years.. apart from difficult, it is also very dangerous. This is my best shot. Taken in the Colorado Mountains a few summers ago. The clouds of a storm were gathering at sunset and the lightening was sporadic and thunder very loud&& You have got to be fast on the click..
