Fabulous. I can smell the air and the sea and sense the rush of the waves. Beautifully done and no endless blue skies - 'cos we don't get too many of those!! In fact the sky is a bit of a masterpiece on its own. I'll have to get the acrylics out!
Artist Reply: Thanks a million for the lovely comments, Gordon............The stormy days are much more interesting to paint than the fine days..............there are so many colours in the sky when you really look............subtle ochres and apricots :o))
Artist Reply: Hi Carol. Thanks for your kind comments on the Achill painting. The weather on the Atlantic Coast can get very wild and i wanted to show that here. i love your Tern Lake painting - it looks very like a place near here that i love, called Doolough, which means the dark lake.
